With political and religious developments spreading further and faster troughout Europe fashion begins to develop faster too with more elaborate styles and structures



The Kampfrau, or Trossfrau, was a woman accompaning the mercenary forces of the Landsknechte (Southern Germany) or Reisläufer (Swiss) in the early 16th century.


This interpretation contains a linen shift with a high smocked collar, a blue woolen dress and the hat(s) - with the barret, the Steuchlein and the Wulsthaube.
