18th CENTURY

Marie Antoinette, Madame Pompadour ... such names ring in our ears when we hear of 18th century fashion

CHEMISE A LA REINE

The most simple but non the less elegant style of the several fashions of the 18th century is this Chemise a la Reine made of sheer cotton dress, an underskirt, a wide shash made of silk and a wide brimed straw head, worn with one of my chatelaines an pinballs.

MARIE ANTOINETTE

My wedding dress was influenced by the pale green gown Marie Antoinette wears at the Petit Trianon in the Film by Sophia Coppola.

It's made of cream white and pale green silk. You can see parts of the undergarments here aswell: Bags, Bumpad, Shift and Underpetticoat
